We finished recording the A-side to our digital 7" that's coming out later this fall. The track is called "Visionary". It's rad, but you'll probably have to wait about a month to hear it.

After recording and mixing for the past 9 hours or so, I'm ready to do something else.

We finally sat down tonight and wrote some music. It's gonna be bonkers.

first show in 6 months

Last night we played our first show in half a year. It was at Molly Malone's in Covington KY and it was definitely one of the best venues and best shows we've ever played. Definitely a perfect way to get us back in the swing of things. We played with our bros Osteoferocious, but also with Future Trends and Sacred Spirits. I got way sucked in to Sacred Spirits' show because I've been on a shoegaze kick lately and they were definitely kick-ass shoegaze rockers.

A look to the future here: we're playing an after party/dance party for our friend Kevin's wedding June 5th. First off, the fact that he wants us playing at his wedding is just the coolest thing ever. second, check this out:
This is a cute little photo taken the night he proposed... notice anything? Yeah, he's wearing a Tiger Cub shirt. Gets engaged wearing a TC shirt and then has us play at his wedding... KEVIN! YOU RULE!

One last thing.... I found this picture of the twins in one of Kevin's photo albums on facebook. It makes me giggle.

we're back

after taking the long way back across the country - braving mountain passes and snowstorms - we made it back to Indiana. hopefully we'll be able to fit in a few practices before our first show back. what? you didn't hear about that? oh, we're playing at Molly Malones in Covington, KY with Osteoferocious and Traveling By Sea on May 22nd at 8pm. so rad.

We are all quite content here in Los Angeles and very excited for the semester ahead of us. and just because we're across the country doesn't mean there won't be new Tiger Cub tracks. actually, i'm promising you one by the end of the week. hold me to it.

we've hit the road and are on our way to LA. so far it's been nothing short of awesome. the best way to express this is undoubtedly though pictures.


we found a sculpture park and decided to get out and play.








Now we are comfy and warm in Tulsa, Oklahoma in a guesthouse watching South Park and listening to the new Vampire Weekend. More tomorrow.
